About the Artist
Colleen Modugno, from a young age, has worked in all areas of art, from pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, oil, and sculpture. Also, set design for theatre productions, residential and commercial murals, and graphic design.
A practicing artist living in Sussex County, Delaware, now, she grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pa. and graduated, Summa cum laude, from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in Architectural and Interior Design, and was hired by an Ann Capron Architects firm, working in technical and freelance drawing, as well as working as an Interior Designer.
After several years, and a love of creating art, cultivated, led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from West Chester University. She has participated in shows and won awards at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and West Chester University.
Currently working in watercolor and oils, using various textures and color and focusing on wildlife and landscapes, in both realistic style art and impressionism art.
Award winning exhibits include the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and West Chester University. Additional exhibits at Milton Art Guild, and Twin Bridge Antiques and Art gallery, West Chester. Presently showing at Milton Mercantile, Del.
